Ajinkya Rahane the Team India test vice-captain has become a proud father of a baby girl as his wife gave birth on Saturday even as he was playing the first test against South Africa with his team winning by 203 runs. Rahane immediately rushed to the hospital and has shared the pic of himself and wife Radhika Dhopavakar holding the little bundle of joy.

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to congratulate Rahane writing "Many Congratulations, Radhika and Ajinkya. The joy of being parents to your first child is unparalleled. Soak it in! Enjoy playing the new role of a night watchman changing the diapers.". Team India star batsman Rohit Sharma's words are "This will be the best innings you’ll play ever. Enjoy the time in the middle best wishes to the family".
