'Bhuj: The Pride of India' is one of Ajay Devgan's several exciting upcoming projects. It is one of the two films in which Ajay will be seen portraying a pilot. It was announced by Disney+ Hotstar last year and given the subject matter, fans have been desperately waiting for it ever since. The project was announced along with 6 other films, all of which have already released. Now there's some new info about the release of 'Bhuj'.

A source inside the industry told, "The producers and Disney+ Hotstar team have decided to release Bhuj – The Pride Of India on Independence Day 2021. They feel that this is an apt time to bring this film to the audiences as it deals with a fascinating chapter of Indian history. The makers are hoping that the patriotic flavour and Ajay Devgn’s presence would surely get them record streams.”

Independence day will be the perfect timing for this film set in the backdrop of 1971 Indo Pak war. It'll showcase the story of 300 women helped IAF in rebuilding the Bhuj Airbase which sustained damage in bombing. The film has an ensemble cast of Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi and Sharad Kelkar alongside Ajay.
