The complaint adds that in the poster of the movie, Devgn is seen climbing Lord Shiva`s figure with shoes on, which hurts the sentiments of people. Most of the pictures and posters from the movie hint at Shiva, the Hindu God. So doing something like this has really hurt a large section of people. The new poster of the movie was released on May 22 and it depicts Ajay holding a trishul` (Lord Shiva`s weapon) made of ice. He had also took to twitter sharing a new poster and wrote, “This Diwali, Shivaay will Transform, Protect & Destroy.”
