Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam' to release in China

'Drishyam', the Hindi-language thriller, was released in 2015. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, it was a remake of the 2013 Malayalam-language film 'Drishyam', which had Mohanlal in the lead. The Mollywood original was remade in Telugu with Venkatesh, followed by the Hindi remake. Co-starring Tabu and Shriya Saran, the Hindi remake is up for a grand Chinese release.

The thriller will hit the screens in China on April 15. It has to be seen how much the Chinese version is going to mop up. If it becomes a hit thanks to positive 'word of mouth', the film will score big at the box office in terms of collections.
When 'Drishyam' was released in 2015, it received critical acclaim and impressive returns. The thriller was described as edge-of-the-seat and stunning.
As for Ajay Devgn and Shriya, they were recently seen in 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' in extended cameo roles.
