Ajay Devgn declares the winner of comic talent hunt show Hajmola Chatpata No.1

Following the successful runof the first season of India's biggest comic talent hunt, Mumbai, today, witnessed the grand finale of HajmolaChatpata No. 1 Season 2. As 14 finalists took centre stage to battle for one of the most coveted comedy champion titles, it is the one who exhibited the most spontaneity, charm, wit and comic timing who made it to the top, earning the title along with a chance to meet and greet superstar Ajay Devgn. Despite the fierce battle among 14 deserving participants, Saddam Shaikhhailing from Aurangabad, Maharashtra exhibited an unparalleled talent for comedy and was declared as the proud winner of HajmolaChatpata No. 1 Season 2. With perseverance, passion for the genre, sincerity and utmost hard work, the 14 finalists who made it through the rib-tickling yet competitive journey of registrations and vigorous selection processes finally faced the judges with Saddam not only winning the most popular title in the comic space but also the opportunity to mark his television debut on leading television channel - BIG Magic. The four month long campaign that encouraged people from the remotest and most rural towns and villages across has finally come to an end with the culmination of a fierce battle among over 10,000 participants belonging to UP, Bihar and Maharashtra. 14 chosen participants who earned their spot at the grand-finale to win the most sought-after title in the comic talent hunt space - HajmolaChatpata No. 1 had to win over the hearts and laughter ofcelebrity judges Ajay Devgn himself along with judge and television actor, Sumit Vats and last year's winner and judge of Season 2, Harsh Saxena. The campaign that recognised stand-up comedians was thoroughly supported by Ajay Devgn, Brand Ambassador, Hajmolaand Celebrity Judge, HajmolaChatpata No. 1 Season 2 who went all out through radio and television campaigns to encourage people to come forward and register themselves. Hajmola along with India's No. 1 FM station, 92.7 BIG FM also came together to reach out to people across the nooks and corners of the country through digital platforms like Facebook, the HajmolaChatapata No. 1 website as well as the 92.7 BIG FM website. To amplify the registration process, 92.7 BIG FM also leveraged its largest 45-station network to reach out to people across the country. Taking the initiative a step further, 92.7 BIG FM's RJs took to their wheels through van and mall activations across cities likeAgra , Varanasi ,Kanpur , Meerut , Goraghpur, Allahabad, Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik and Patna amongst others to encourage people to register and showcase their hidden potential in the comedy sphere.
