Ajay Devgan has several interesting films under production awaiting the appropriate time to resume filming. One of these projects is the sports drama, 'Maidaan'. The project has experienced several delays and most recently, cyclone Tauktae has also caused a setback to the production. Th storm caused heavy damage to the set of the film which was located on the outskirts of Mumbai.
Although there hasn't been any casualty but the set itself has sustained heavy damage. A huge chunk of the film is yet to be shot which is why this is going to be a roadblock in the path of this movie. At the time of disaster, there were about 40 people at the location. The guards ans curator tried everything to minimize the damage but there was little they could do.
Ajay will be seen as the legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in 'Maidaan'. The project has been bankrolled by Boney Kapoor while Amit Sharma is occupying the director's chair.
