Superstar Ajay Devgan is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film 'Runway 34' these days. This aviation thriller will feature Ajay in the role of an airline pilot who lands into a controversy after making some questionable decisions midair. Since it is an investigative movie, 'Runway 34' has a technical aspect to it which needed to be accurate and precise.
In this day and age, actors and filmmakers cannot get away by showing anything inauthentic on screen. This is why makers of 'Runway 34' did meticulous research and actors underwent required training prior to the filming.
Sharing how he and Rakul trained for their characters, Ajay Devgan recently shared, "We trained for days before shooting to get into the character. We had a real pilot on set to coach us. We familiarised ourselves with the cockpit; learnt the use of the numerous buttons on the panel. It was a mini-coaching class and we did not take it lightly. We also got lessons from the ATC (air traffic control). 'Runway 34' is a film based on true incidents and we needed to keep the authenticity."
Also starring Boman Irani and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles, 'Runway 34' is set to release theatrically on 29th of April.
