Superstar Ajay Devgan, who is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming thriller 'Runway 34', recently talked about his equation with contemporary stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. He shared that he consulted with Salman Khan before finalizing Eid 2022 as the release date of his film.

Ajay told Pinkvilla, "Last to last year, I called Salman and asked if his film will be released on Eid because I would like to have my movie come out during that time. He said, ‘I would not come with my film.'"

Further in his statement, Ajay compared his generation of actors with the current generation and said, "I don’t know about the new generation, but we all are like brothers, we are there for each other. So many times, Akshay (Kumar) tweets for me, I do it for him and others. We never think that his films should not work at the box office. All of us in our age group are not in competition with each other."

'Runway 34' is set to release theatrically on 29th of April 2022.
