As the OTT business is gaining popularity over mainstream Bollywood, several Bollywood stars are moving towards the OTT content. Ajay Devgan, who is going through an amazing career phase, has also announced his first digital project. The show is titled 'Rudra' and it is an official remake of British show 'Luther'. It's no wonder that Ajay is being paid an insane amount for the show.

A trade source revealed, "Ajay Devgn is on a career high following the epic success of Tanhaji and he has been paid Rs. 125 crores for this limited episode series. With this, he joined the elite list of highest paid actors on OTT platforms alongside Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar. The Rs. 125 crore deal also includes some cross promotional activities for the Star Network like promo shoots, social media posts, appearances on reality shows etc."

A listers like Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have also charged a massive amount for their digital projects. The producers are more than happy to pay such large sums since it gaurantees insane popularity and reach for their content.
