Ajay Devgan and Sudeep indulge in a brief scuffle on Twitter

On Wednesday, actors Ajay Devgan and Kichcha Sudeep indulged into a war of words on Twitter after the latter commented that Hindi is no longer a national language. However, the brief scuffle ended after Sudeep clarified his point in better way and Ajay graciously accepted it. It all started when Sudeep was talking about the success of Kannada film 'KGF: Chapter 2' and stated that Hindi is not a national language anymore.

Apparently, this remark didn't go well with Ajay who tweeted in Hindi, "@KicchaSudeep my brother, According to you if Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your mother tongue movies by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was, is and always will be our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gan Man.”

In response, Sudeep wrote, “And sir @ajaydevgn, I did understand the txt you sent in Hindi. Tats only coz we all have respected, loved and learnt Hindi. No offense sir, but was wondering what'd the situation be if my response was typed in Kannada.!!

Don't we too belong to India sir.”

Ajay Devgan then accepted Sudeep's point of view and the argument did't go any further. He tweeted, "Hi @KicchaSudeep, You are a friend. thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding. I’ve always thought of the film industry as one. We respect all languages and we expect everyone to respect our language as well. Perhaps, something was lost in translation ??."
