'Shylock', Mammootty's third collaboration with director Ajay Vasudev seems to have not disappointed the fans. 'Shylock' has registered an impressive start at the box office from its first day.

The Megastar and team celebrated the success of the movie at the location of his upcoming project 'The Priest'. As the movie's director Ajai Vasudev celebrated his birthday on the day, it was double the celebration for the team.

With a cheerful smile, Mammootty hugged the director and also shared the cake with the team. The pictures of Ajai planting a kiss on the cheeks of Megastar, at the celebration, is viral on social media. Extending his gratitude to the team, Ajai shared a heartfelt note on his Facebook page along with the celebration pictures.

'Shylock' is the third collaboration of the actor-director duo after the successful RajadhiRaja (2014) and Masterpiece (2017).

Mammootty plays a ruthless and flamboyant money lender-gangster, who likes mouthing Rajinikanth dialogues. Besides Mammootty, Shylock also stars Meena, Siddique, Baiju Santhosh, Kalabhavan Shajohn, John Vijay and Bibin George among others.

The film also marks the debut of Tamil actor Raj Kiran in Mollywood. Directed by Ajai Vasudev, the movie is bankrolled by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments.
