A longtime buzz is finally coming true. Aishwarya Dhanush Rajinikanth will soon start wielding megaphone for a film, which will have her husband in the lead role. And his pair will be Shruthi Haasan.

"This will be the first directorial venture of Aishwarya and it will be a romantic entertainer. The script is ready and it is a longtime wish of the elder daughter of the Superstar to make a movie," say sources in the know.

However, the project had to be put on hold due to various reasons, with the latest being the ill-health of Rajinikanth. "Now that Superstar is super fine, Aishwarya has decided to start the film," they say further.

"Shooting will start once Rajini is back in town," the sources say and add: "Both Aishwarya and Shruthi are eagerly looking forward to work with each other since they are good friends since childhood."
