It was earlier rumoured that choreographer turned actor Prabhu Deva is teaming up with director Kalyan for the second time. The duo had earlier worked together in a film titled Gulaebaghavali. Now, the project was confirmed and the untitled project went on floors with an ensemble cast and crew.

Sources revealed that Aishwarya Rajesh is has been roped in to play the female lead. A source close to the team confirmed that the film went on floors this Friday, in Puducherry. “Important sequences featuring Prabhudeva and Aishwarya Rajesh will be shot on the outskirts of Puducherry for the next 10 days. An official announcement regarding the entire cast and crew will be made soon.”

Meanwhile, Prabhudeva has completed shooting for his portions in Bhageera and the psycho-thriller is ready for release. And the star is currently shooting for 'Poikaal Kudhirai', in which he plays a physically-challenged person.
