After cricket, it's wrestling for Aishwarya Rajesh!

The talented performer Aishwarya Rajesh was last seen on screen playing an aspiring cricketer from a village who makes it big in the national side in the Arunraja Kamaraj directorial Kanaa which emerged a critical as well as commercial success.

The actress is set to play a wrestler next, in her upcoming movie. Aishwarya Rajesh had been signed to play the female lead in an untitled Telugu movie (her second in Tollywood after an ongoing project with Vijay Deverakonda) directed by Salim, Sathuranga Vettai 2 director NV Nirmal Kumar.

This movie which stars Uday Shankar in lead role will have Aishwarya Rajesh playing a tomboyish village girl from a family of wrestlers, who goes on to fulfil her family dream by winning an international wrestling event. The movie stars Ghajini villain Pradeep Rawat as Aishwarya Rajesh's father.
