Official! Aishwarya Rajesh’s ‘Soppana Sundari’ to debut on Disney Plus Hotstar on this date

Aishwarya Rajesh’s latest film, ‘Soppana Sundari’, is the newest comedy caper in the K-town. Directed by SG Charles, the movie is all set to make its digital debut on Disney Plus Hotstar. The film will stream from May 12th onwards. Apart from being a comedy, Soppana Sundari also has a strong a women-centric message that showcases the difficulties women face on a daily basis and how they overcome them.

‘Soppana Sundari’, which has been appreciated for its refreshing new plot, primarily revolves around three women and a car. The laugh riot revolves around Agalya (Aishwarya Rajesh), a girl from a lower-middle class family who wins a car worth Rs 10 lakhs in a lucky draw competition conducted by a popular jewellery store.

The exceptionally smart Agalya (Aishwarya Rajesh), her glib-tongued mother Lakshmi(Deepa) and her speech-impaired sister (Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli) are all over the moon on getting to know that they have won a car. However, their happiness is short-lived as their claim to the car is challenged. How Aishwarya and the other women in her family outwit those others, claiming the car for themselves is what the film is all about.

The laugh riot features Aishwarya Rajesh, Deepa Shankar, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Karunakaran, Mime Gopi, Sathish and Redin Kingsly among others. Soppani Sundari has music by Ajmal Tahseen and cinematography by Balamurugan and Vignesh Rajagopalan. Balaji Subbu and Vivek Ravichandran have produced the film, the editing of which has been taken care by K Sarath Kumar.
