The official teaser for ‘Kanaa’ has finally hit the web. With Aishwarya Rajesh essaying the lead role in the movie as an aspiring cricket player from a rural background, anticipation was sure high. Not to mention that this is Sivakarthikeyan’s very first production venture.

Arunraja Kamaraj’s teaser depicts a sad but a determined undertone for ‘Kanaa’. There is a splurge of emotions, angst and drive that force us to get attentive for the entire duration of the teaser. Going by the teaser we also discern that glamorising the emotions have been done away with. Instead the teaser adds strength to the grimness, the hardship of a girl who reaches the destination that she aspires to. Even then, she’s not smiling at theend- there is still a fire burning in her.

And there is Sathyaraj who promises us a really good performance with his matter of fact performance and don’t we love the mother’s dialogue that just desire won’t suffice but determination too. The teaser is sure to fire up fans and increase anticipation especially with the music turning majestic from melancholy smoothly over the teaser.

Dinesh Krishnan has handled the cinematography while editor Ruben has made the cuts for the film. The film is being bankrolled by Dhibu Ninan Thomas. And don't foreget to catch a glimpse of Shivakarthikeyan towards the end too!
