There is a long standing debate about whether the “Illuminati”, a small group of people controlling the events of the entire world for centuries, is a myth or a reality. It is no wonder, for a filmmaker to capitalize on this popular belief and make a commercial entertainer on it. But when the name of the director is Rathindran R Prasad, one can rest assured that the film will have a lot of substance to it as is evident by his previous globally acclaimed works, 'Kodaikanal Wont' about mercury contamination in Kodaikanal and 'Chennai Poromboke Paadal' that urges to retrieve the lands of the communities and save creeks and rivers.
'Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kathai' teaser hooks the viewer and keeps the interest going by the visuals that have a mix of conspiracy theory, action and diving into the realms of the occult through the characters of Guru Somasundaram and Abhay Deol. Ashwin Kakamanu looks refreshing as the curious Joe and looks like his big break is right around the corner. Apart from the exemplary camera and editing work by the director himself what stands apart in the 1 minute 13 seconds is Ghibran's arresting background score once again proving what an exceptional talent he is. The teaser is sure as heck a brain teaser and hits the bullseye in selling the movie to its audiences.
