Aishwarya Rajesh was last seen on screen in Siva Karthikeyan's debut production venture Kanaa and was recently seen giving her voice for the character Nala in the Tamil version of latest Hollywood hit The Lion King. The actress is currently a part of a number of movies in Tamil and Telugu.

The actress has been signed to play the female lead in the upcoming movie to be produced by director Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Productions. The production house had earlier produced Meyadha Maan and also is planning another movie starring Keerthy Suresh.

This movie starring Aishwarya Rajesh will be directed by Rathindran R Prasad who has directed Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai, and it has been revealed that she will be paired with actor Ashwin Kakumanu who is known for starring in movies like Mankatha, Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara etc. Ashwin was also a part of Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai.
