Aishwarya Rai to host a dinner at Cannes

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan missed the Red carpet honor in the ongoing Cannes Film Festival since she missed to reach the venue on time due to an unprecedented air traffic issue. However the Bollywood actress will get another prestigious honor in the Cannes 2014.

The Bachchan Bahu will be hosting a ‘Cinema against AIDS AMFAR dinner soiree at the Cannes Film Festival’ along with her husband Abhishek Bachchan. The event will be held at Hoteldu Cap-Eden-Roc on the evening of 22nd May and will be attended by the who is who of fashion, music and business at the international level that will include Kenneth Cole, Heidi Klum,Sharon Stone, John Travolta and Kelly Preston and Lewis Hamilton among others.

Cinema against AIDS is a world-renowned charitable fundraiser held each year since 1993 during the Cannes Film Festival, and it is considered as one of the most attractive vents of the film festival for the glittering guest list, its interesting auction, and its unparalleled success in generating funds for amfAR's AIDS research programs.

The former Miss World will also be getting the honour of walking the red carpet in another event of Cannes 2014.
