Recently, netizens were celebrating a video of Aishwarya Rai's doppelganger Amrutha, who recreated the actress's popular scene from the 2000 Tamil film 'Kandukondain Kandukondain'. Her striking resemblance to the Miss World turned Bollywood diva set the social media on fire.

Amrutha received widespread appreciation for the video and now comes the news that she is playing the lead role in an upcoming Malayalam movie titled 'Picasso' produced by Sheik Afsal and directed by Sunil Kariattukara. The teaser of the movie released earlier in the year had gone viral as well.

Amrutha who is popular on Tik Tok has acted in a few advertisements and did minor roles in movies as well. Following the online buzz created by her videos, she is expected to land more projects in Tamil and Malayalam soon.
