Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to stage a comeback to Tollywood with Advocate Anuradha Varma. Written and directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film is deemed to be thriller-drama which revolves around an attorney who is forced to defend a criminal after her daughter is abducted. The film marks the return of Aiswarya to films after a brief hiatus of five years.

Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi are playing important roles in this film produced by Nivas Varma and Satish. The makers are planning to release the Telugu version on November 6. Interestingly, the Aishwarya starrer is set to clash for the box office supremacy with Colours Swathi`s horror-thriller Tripura. The Hindi version titled Jazbaa, which was released in October, has received critical acclaim for its content. The makers of the Telugu version are hoping that Advocate Anuradha Varma too gets a similar reception.
