Aishwarya Rai's father passes away

Krishnaraj Rai, the father of actress Aishwarya Rai's father who has been admitted in a Mumbai hospital a few weeks ago has unfortunately died a few hours ago today. He was allegedly suffering from cancer.

Krishnaraj Rai is survived by his wife Vrinda Rai and son Aditya Rai. Aishwarya has been taking complete care of her father in the Mumbai Lilavati hospital where he was battling for life for around a fortnight now.

Aishwarya's husband Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan visited Krishnaraj last week.
