Aishwarya Rai is ready to make a huge big screen comeback with Director Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, the same filmmaker who had launched her in the movie with Iruvar many years ago. The actress' first look from Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 was released a few months back and it managed to wow the viewers.

Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies took to Twitter to release Aishwarya's poster. “Vengeance has a beautiful face! Meet Nandini, the queen of Pazhuvoor,” the caption read. The star reportedly has a dual role as Nandini and Mandakini Devi. Aishwarya Rai fans couldn't stop heaping praise on her look after the poster dropped.

Recently Aishwarya Rai was spotted by the paparazzi outside Sunny Super Sound recording studio in Juhu. As the photos went viral, fans speculated that the actress is dubbing for PS - I. Lately, a Bts photo of the actress was leaked online. In the picture, the actress is posing for the lens with cinematographer Ravi Varman. She can be seen wearing a silk saree, along with heavy jewellery.

Ponniyin Selvan is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel of the same name. It also stars Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi, and Aishwarya Lekshmi in pivotal roles. The most awaited periodic action dramas written, directed, and co-produced by Mani Ratnam and produced by Lyca Productions. The film is set to release on September 30.
