But when it comes to veteran actress Rekha, other than Jaya Bachchan the others in the family greet her with full love and grandeur. Recently at the Stardust Award function, Aishwarya was so glad and happy that she addressed Silsila` actress Rekha as maa`.

Aishwarya was called on the stage to receive the Power Packed Performer Award for impressive comeback in Jazbaa` and it was none other than stunning Rekha who handed her the trophy. Aishwarya had also bent down to touch Rekha`s feet which was so blissful to watch. After blessing her, Rekha hugged Aishwarya and handed her the award and said, "I am honoured to give her the award and I hope I can give it to you for many more years to come."

After receiving the award, Aishwarya Rai humbly thanked everyone and turned towards Rekha saying, "It's great to receive it from you Maa. It means so much to me." WOW!! This moment just freezed... for not just fans but stars too. Amitabh Bachchan looked cool and composed during the awards function and also had a great time watching it. During her speech, Aishwarya also said that she dedicates the award to her darling daughter Aaradhya for celebrating motherhood.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha have rarely acknowledged each other on public platforms or events. Jaya and Rekha were also seen hugging and greeting each other during the Star Screen awards recently.
