In a shocking turn of events Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive for the COVID 19 and have been home quarantined.  Earlier on Saturday evening Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive and were admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.  The initial antigen test taken for Aishwarya, Aaradhya and Jaya Bachchan came out negative and their swab test results were awaited.

It has just been confirmed that the second round swab test has come positive for Aishwarya and Aaradhya while it has remained negative for Jaya Bachchan. Rajesh Tope, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Maharashtra confirming the news on twitter posted the message "Smt. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery."

The deadly virus infecting the country's biggest stars who have taken all precautions so far has come as a shock to not only the film fraternity but also the common people too.
