Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi who made her Tamil debut in Sundar C's 'Action' starring Vishal later starred in 'Jagame Thandhiram' opposite Dhanush, 'Captain' opposite Arya and 'Gargi' starring Sai Pallavi which she also produced. However she gained huge popularity after portraying the role of Poonguzhali in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'.

Aishwarya rounded off 2022 by starring in the super hit 'Gatta Kusthi' directed by Chella Ayyavu and costarring Vishnu Vishal. Her performance as the dominant wrestler who tries to go soft on her husband and later becomes his protector was well received by critics and fans alike. She will have a much meatier role in 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' releasing on April 28th this year.

Aishwarya's latest Instagram post has created a sensation on social media. She has shared an intimate pic with Tamil actor Arjun Das and has posted a heart emoji. Speculations have risen whether this is the talented actress confirming her love for the actor or if its a promo for any upcoming movie.

Arjun Das, who hit the headlines for his villainous roles in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Kaithi', 'Master' and 'Vikram' is playing the lead in several upcoming films including Vasantha Balan's 'Aneethi' and a few Bollywood projects as well. So are Aishwarya and Arjun the next star couple in Kollywood? Only time will tell.
