The debutant actress Aishwarya who played sister to Duniya Vijay in Simhadri' narrowly missed stone hits after she came out from Pushpanjali theatre in Davanagere.

As Aishwarya and parents of her sat inside the car the stone started one by one. The glass planes got crashed in the process but no one was injured.

Aishwarya immediately called up Duniya Vijay on stone pelting. The arrival of Vijay stopped further damage. The reason for pelting stones by fans is not ascertained. In the opening scene Aishwarya sister to Vijay in the film beats him with a stick and later after marriage at her in laws house humiliates her brother.

Probably such scenes by a newcomer irritated the fans of Duniya Vijay.
