Taking up a new turn in life Aishani Shetty directed a short film ‘Kaaja’ of 17 minutes that has been selected by Dada Saheb Phalke Academy Film Festival. That is also reason for happiness for Aishani Shetty.

Aishani Shetty has done story, screenplay and directed this short film. It was first screened at short film festival at California and now at the 8th Dada Saheb Phalke Academy Film festival.

‘Kaaji’ is based on the real life incidents. The practicality in society, poverty and some start realities are contents. Hita Chandrasekhar is in prominent role with Madhura Channiga and Inchara as child actors. Pritam Taggina Mane cinematography and Midun Mukundan music have given technical support.

Meanwhile talented and multi tasking Aishani Shetty has appeared for Master Degree final examination. She is now free to accept assignments in films. She is part of ‘Naduve Antharavirali’ Kannada cinema of Ravin direction.
