The grand audio release of Mr Airavatha` on the birthday of producer of the film Mr Sandesh Nagaraj was held in Mysuru and music director V Harikrishna owned D Beats marketed the CD of the film initially.

Later the rights of Mr Airavatha` came to the kitty of Lahari Recording Company for one major reason. It is clearly indicated that music director V Harikrishna has lifted the tune of Aagadu` Telugu cinema of Prince Mahesh Babu. The plagiarism did come to the notice from the fans and music lovers to Lahari Recording Company via tweets.

In the previous case (Rana Vikrama of power star Puneeth Rajakumar film) Lahari Recording Company and T series joint venture raised objection to the same music director and he had to pay to the penalty. With a direct lift this time to Mr Airavatha` from Telugu film Aagadu` song the rights in the hands of Lahari Recording company would have resulted in huge penalty. Instead of penalty the further audio rights of Mr Airavatha` went to Lahari Recording company with some of the bigwigs of Kannada cinema industry intervening in this case to sort out the issue.
