Title - Mr Airavatha, Producer - Sandesh, Direction - AP Arjun, Music - V Harikrishna, Cinematography - Shekar Chandra, Cast - Darshan, Urvashi Rautela, Prakash Raj, Ananthnag, Avinash, Bullet Prakash, Muni, Chikkanna, Ashok, Govinda Rao, Aravind, Sithara, Sadhu Kokila and others.

The Sandesh Combines `Mr Airavatha' is a power packed film with not much of novelty in the subject. A cop almost setting right the system is proved as a criminal, later the same fake cop writing IPS examination to comeback as real IPS officer is routine subject. The narration in the first half is what makes this film appealing. Taking on the biggest attack on the one side `Mr Airavatha' digs all shady deals for a good system. There is surprise in the interval and in the end he is supported by the people who took clean administration.

The 157 minutes `Mr Airavatha' is a full pack of action and people friendly cinema. It is no doubt a double treat for the fans of Darshan but missing out logic for the purpose of commercial entertainment is not expected from director of `Ambari, Adduri and Raate' AP Arjun. The buildup he has given for Darshan role clearly indicates that he is also a fan of the actor.

In the five months and 23 days fake IPS officer Mr Airavatha taking on strong opponent Pratap Kaale (Prakash Raj) gets in to the skin of problems in various departments. This obviously irks tormentor Kaale. He goes in to the background of Mr Airavatha an ordinary village cultivator. At the interval point Mr Airavatha is sentenced for being a fake IPS. For taking such a bold step in cheating the department there is a strong reason for this grandson of a freedom fighter.

For tremendous people friendly work done by Mr Airavatha in five months and 23 days the `Janatha Nyayalaya' is demanded by the people. In the presence of his people with three member committee of judges Mr Airavatha explains his ordeals and the system that is very cruel to common man. The simple imprisonment of one month and one lakh is declared for Mr Airavatha alias Ravikumar a graduate in science and an agriculturist.

After serving for one month Airavatha is given opportunity to write IPS examination with President of India special permission. He writes the IPS and passes out to become a cop again. In the one month absence of Airavatha, it is time for Pratap Kaale to prove his mettle. All activities of Kaale is crushed by Airavatha as real IPS officer.

Once again it is a perfect fit of cop uniform for challenging star Darshan. None of the real life cop matches to his standards it seems. The lengthy dialogue of Darshan is chilling for his fans. The contemporary issues are focused in this film with statistical information.

Veteran actors like Ananthnag, Govinda Rao, Ashok given precise performance. Urvashi Rautela looks beautiful but role is very limited. Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna are good. Prakash Raj as tough tormentor also takes on comedy in a few scenes tickle funny bones. It is continuation of `Singham' role for Prakash Raj.

Three songs of V Harikrishna (one lifted from `Aagadu' film of Mahesh Babu) are well scored and it is shot in brilliant way. The film screening was not bright at Santosh theatre. Shekar Chandra cinematography struggle is seen in top angle and action scenes.

The film of 157 minutes duration could have been trimmed by 20 minutes. It is a feast for Darshan fans in excess.

Score 6/10
