Lady Superstar Nayanthara who is on a success spree scoring back to back hits with Kolamavu Kokila, Imaikkaa Nodigal and Viswasam is back on screen with the horror thriller Airaa, directed by KM Sarjun who had previously directed by Echarikkai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamadum Idam besides short films Maa and Lakshmi.

Airaa has Nayanthara in dual roles as Yamuna in the contemporary times, and Bhavani in a flashback. The horrible incidents that happen to Bhavani and her love and life, that leads to her end, and how Bhavani is connected to Yamuna and whether the revenge was achieved for the losses is what Airaa is all about.

Airaa is produced by KJR Studios  and has music by KS Sundaramurthy, and cinematography by Ballu. The movie also stars Kalaiyarasan and ace comedian Yogi Babu in important roles, and is set to release worldwide on March 28.
