A 43-year-old woman from Ahmedabad's Ambawadi registered a complaint with the cyber cell, claiming that her former boyfriend shared pictures of their intimate moments with her children after she ended the relationship.

The woman reportedly works for a catering company where she met the man over a year ago. After dating for three months, the woman broke up with him as she apparently felt that their relationship would become an embarrassment to her kids. However, the man threatened to post pictures of their intimate moments on social media if she left him. Later, he shared the pictures with the woman's son and daughter. "The FIR states that they fell in love and entered a relationship. The accused then threatened her saying if she didn't do his bidding, he would publish the pictures on social media. The complainant remained defiant and ended her relationship with the accused," a cyber cell official reportedly said.

The official added that a case of offence has been registered against the accused. Investigation of the matter is currently underway.
