Director Ahmed is currently working on "Endrendum Punnagai", a romantic comedy which has Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay and Andrea in it. The director elaborated on the film at a recent interview.

Jiiva, Vinay and Santhanam are all bachelors who stay that way because they don't want the responsibility marriage brings to life. Specially Jiiva, he is totally against the idea because he thinks it will take his freedom and joy out of life. This is the story of how such a guy falls in love, gets married and gets faith in life restored." is what Ahmed had to say about the film. Furthermore, he said that Santhanam is not his usual self in this film, it's something new for us. He also added that Andrea does not appear nude in the film like rumours suggest, she is a fashion model in the film and dresses accordingly. On the other hand Trisha is the all in all homely, middle class girl in the film. From what he tells us, this sure does sound like a must watch entertainer.
