Ahista Ahista - A simple film

If there is any film that may turn out to be a dark horse this late summer, it looks to be 'Ahista Ahista'. A film that is making its presence felt amongst the movie lovers 'Ahista Ahista', this light hearted romantic film stars Abhay Deol and Soha Ali Khan in the lead roles.
The film looks fresh as inspite of being a film about two youngsters, it doesn't pretend to be all candy floss and has been shot in as natural manner as possible. Also the look of the film doesn't deviate completely from the Bollywood scheme of things by trying to become extra realistic. Performances seem to be reminding of that 70s period when actors like Amol Palekar, Farooque Sheikh, Vidya Sinha amongst other ruled.
With Abhay Deol and Soha around, this is very much possible because Abhay impressed one and all with his natural act in his debut film 'Socha Na Tha' while Soha Ali Khan won thousands of fans with her simple'n'sober yet determined college girl act in 'Rang De Basanti'.
Directed by debutamt Shivam Nair, 'Ahista Ahista' also stars Shayan Munshi who again demonstrated a raw yet natural comic timing in his debut flick 'Jhankaar Beats'!
