Abhiram Daggubati, the younger brother of Rana Daggubati, is debuting as a lead man with the film 'Ahimsa'. A youthful entertainer directed by Teja, the film has completed its production. Produced by P Kiran of Anandi Art Creations, the film's promotional activities have begun at a time when its post-production works are going on.
Geethika has played Abhiram's romantic interest in this Teja directorial. Rajat Bedi, Sadha (who played the heroine of Teja's 'Jayam'), Ravi Kale, Kamal Kamaraju, Manoj Tiger, Kalpalatha and Devi Prasad have played different roles.
With music by RP Patnaik, 'Ahimsa' has cinematography by Sameer Reddy. Edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, the film has Real Sathish and Chandrabose taking care of fights and lyrics, respectively. Dialogues are by Anil Achugatla; Teja has previously penned lines for his movies but he at times recruits writers to do the needful.
The film's release date will be announced soon. Both Abhiram and Teja have been very passionate about the project. The former seems to have got a violent and intense role in 'Ahimsa'.
