In the first glimpse of 'Ahimsa', director Teja frames Abhiram Daggubati's character as a victim. He has always enjoyed showing underdogs as extremely vulnerable ones in his movies. These chaps gain strength and courage as the story progresses.
Produced by P Kiran of Anandi Art Creations, the film's glimpse comes a couple of days after its pre-look poster was released. The debutant hero, who hails from the Ramanaidu family, is seen getting battered severely by thugs. His face is covered with a jute bag. He oozes blood but may make a comeback in a rousing turn of events. With the release of this, the film's promotions are now full-fledged.
Geethika has played Abhiram's romantic interest in this Teja directorial. Rajat Bedi, Sadha (who played the heroine of Teja's 'Jayam'), Ravi Kale, Kamal Kamaraju, Manoj Tiger, Kalpalatha and Devi Prasad have played different roles.
Going by today's first glimpse, it is clear that the movie has got a rural backdrop for the most part. Shot in difficult terrain like jungles, it has been made with loads of conviction.
With music by RP Patnaik, 'Ahimsa' has cinematography by Sameer Reddy. The film's release date will be announced soon.
