As a rare occurrence in Kollywood, the opening collection figures of the recent big Tamil release 'Kavan' has been announced by the film's production house itself.

Archana Kalpathi, the CEO of AGS Entertainments, has tweeted the official collection figures of the Vijay Sethupathi-Madonna Sebastian starrer in its opening three day weekend from theatres across Tamil Nadu.

'Kavan' has collected Rs.10.17 crores in TN for the three days. The district wise break is given below .

• Chennai- Rs.1.32 crores


• Chengalpet- Rs.2.88 crores


• North Arcot - Rs.52 lakhs


• South Arcot - Rs.55 lakhs


• Salem - Rs.71 lakhs


• Madurai - Rs.1.21 crores


• Coimbatore - Rs.1.52 crores


• Tirunelveli & Kanyakumari- Rs.91 lakhs
