Mohan Babu and his daughter Lakshmi Manchu are doing an action thriller titled ‘Agni Nakshathram’. Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and Manchu Entertainment today unveiled the film's first glimpse via Rana Daggubati's digital handles.

The glimpse opens with an aerial shot of a city full of night lights and tall buildings. Lakshmi Manchu enters the screen as a tough cop after Samuthirakani is shown as a police officer.

Chitra Shukla of 'Rangula Ratnam' fame seems to have a character role. Viswant and Siddique have other roles.

Dr. Mohan Babu, who might well be a vigilante, makes a dashing entry towards the fag end of the glimpse video. For now, his role has been kept under wraps. It seems he enters the screen after the female protagonist is pushed to the corner by a mafia.

Directed by Vamsee Krishna Malla, the film has got music by Achu Rajamani. With cinematography done by Gokul Bharathi, the film is edited by Madhu Reddi. With the screenplay penned by the director himself, the film has the story written by Diamond Ratnababu.

The film's release date is yet to be announced.
