Top five reasons for watching Agni Devi

The recently released 'Agni vs Devi' directed by JPR and Sham Suriya has Bobby Simha, Madhubala and Remya Nambesan in the cast and is inspired by a novel written by Rajesh Kumar. The film has Bobby playing a straightforward cop who takes on a strange murder case which is linked to a powerful woman politician played by Madhubala.

The film keeps up the interest in maintaining the suspense factor as the victim a journalist has an intriguing backstory with a strange relationship issue with her brother. The stunt choreography especially is top notch especially in a fight between Bobby Simha and a bunch of adolescent boys. The expose of how politicians convert orphans into assassins is spine chilling. Madhubala the alluring 'Roja' girl has completely gone for a makeover as a physically and mentally twisted evil politician and her character has its own arch in the climax where she meets her son. The best directorial touch comes in the final scene when how political and religious riots turn an ordinary innocent woman into an evil one.
