In 'Agent', Akhil Akkineni's character is in search of goosebumps. He has a yearning for leading his life on the edge. He exudes child-like enthusiasm for a dangerous life. And his overt mission is to catch hold of God, played by Dino Morea. Now, God is the exact opposite of what his name indicates.

While Dino seems to be the main antagonist, he could well turn out to be the film's half-antagonist, with the other half played by Akhil himself. Akhil revels in brandishing all sorts of weapons, including a machine gun. The trailer makes us believe that he doesn't mind subjecting a child to terror by pointing a gun. Director Surender Reddy could well be pulling the wool over the audience's eyes.

When the film hits the screens on April 28, we will know what the crime syndicate is about, what Akhil's character is really up to, and more.

Malayalam superstar Mammootty has a key role in this spy thriller. With the cinematography by Rasool Ellore, the film has Avinash Kolla and Naveen Nooli doing art direction and editing, respectively. The story has been written by Vakkantham Vamsi. Produced by AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, the film is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara.
