Akhil Akkineni's 'Agent' is a Surender Reddy directorial whose teaser is out. Right from the word go, it is sustained by sincerity and stunning visuals.
And we haven't yet started talking about Akhil's amazing physical makeover for the most challenging role of his career. The teaser decorates itself by showing its protagonist, codenamed 'A Gent', in his full glory. Mahadev (Mammootty) is asked by a panel of investigators whether the secret agent, whose whereabouts are unknown, can be caught at all. He answers by saying that the agent is unpredictable and doesn't leave a trace. "No witness, no forensic evidence," Mahadev says.
When the heroine (read Sakshi Vaidya) calls him a 'wild saale', the tone and tonor of the teaser get transformed. The end portions hint that the titular character is also prone to being hit back.
Music and cinematography are by Hip Hop Thamizha and Rasool Ellore, respectively. Avinash Kolla and Naveen Nooli have done art direction and editing, respectively. The story has been written by Vakkantham Vamsi.
