Akhil Akkineni's 'Agent' has begun its Manali schedule. The Surender Reddy directorial has onboarded Vijay Master to compose a high-voltage action sequence for the spy thriller during the ongoing schedule.

Earlier, in a schedule, Stun Siva choreographed an action block. Billed to feature at least five massive action set pieces, 'Agent' is the heaviest action movie in Akhil's career. The film's release later this year is going to be a remarkable occasion.

Akhil's makeover for the movie is huge. Vakkantham Vamsi of 'Oosaravelli', 'Temper', 'Race Gurram' and 'Yevadu' fame has penned the story.

The film, co-starring Mammootty, is set to hit the screens on August 12 (all efforts are on to ensure that the movie releases on time). 'Agent' has Sakshi Vaidya as the heroine. Music and cinematography are by Hip Hop Thamizha and Rasool Ellore, respectively. Produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara of AK Entertainments, the film is one of the most expensive ones in the making.
