Akhil Akkineni's 'Agent' is a Surender Reddy directorial. The spy thriller is gearing up to hit the screens for Sankranthi 2023.

Although Akkineni fans would have expected 'Agent' to entertain them this very year, the festival time of the release is something they will cherish. "Get caught upon all the ACTION. Agent arriving in theatres Worldwide this SANKRANTHI 2023 (sic)," AK Entertainments today said.

"No witness, no forensic evidence," is at the root of Akhil's character in the movie. The film's teaser was released months ago. It made clear that Mahadev (Malayalam superstar Mammootty) is a key player in the story.

Starring Sakshi Vaidya as the glamorous heroine of the film, 'Agent' is going to make 'wild saale' its trump card. Music and cinematography are by Hip Hop Thamizha and Rasool Ellore, respectively. Avinash Kolla and Naveen Nooli have done art direction and editing, respectively. The story has been written by Vakkantham Vamsi.
