A regular happening in Mollywood for every special season, this Vishu will also feature another superstar fight in theatres. Mohanlal's 'China Town' will take on Mammootty's doubles which are going to grace the theatres from April 14 and 15 respectively. China Town is a hilarious multistarrer written and directed by the duo Rafi Mecartin, featuring Mohanlal, Jayaram, Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Poonam Bajwa, Jagathi, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Pradeep Rawat. As per the initial reports the movie is a sure winner with plenty of wits to cherish. More over, the music for the movie by Jassie Gift is already in the top of the charts.

Meanwhile' 'Doubles' is directed by debutant Sohan Seenulal. Featuring Mammootty, and Nadia Moidu together after 23 years, the movie will also have Taapsee, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Suresh and Avinash in important roles. The movie's music is by Subramaniapuram fame Tamil music director James Vasanthan. Both these flick are planning a wide release as there are chances to take an extended initial weekend, since Easter week also arrives in another five days. This will surely help 'Doubles' and 'China town' to emerge winners as the continuous holidays and vacation, will go on for at least ten days from their release.

The last time the big M's of Mollywood went for a direct clash with their films was for the last Onam. Mohanlal's Shikaar' was the movie which opened as a flier making it safe for the producer in just three weeks. But Mammoottty's 'Pranchiyeetan and the saint' which made a silent start had the last laugh as it made an extended run to more than hundred days, fetching maximum accolades while Shikaar's dream start ended in 70 days in release centres.
