Earlier this week, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath tested positive for coronavirus. On Friday, one more Chief Minister tested positive. It's BS Yediyurappa, the CM of Karnataka.
Taking to Twitter, BSY wrote that, upon having mild fever, he got tested for Covid-19 and the report came out positive. "Although I am doing fine, I am being hospitalised based on the advice of doctors. I request all those who have come in my contact recently to be observant and exercise self-quarantine," he further wrote.
This is the second infection that the senior BJP leader has had this pandemic. Last year, he tested positive and got cured days later. He ran only mild symptoms.
He and his Health Minister had taken the first dose of coronavirus vaccine on March 13. Given this, he is likely to run only mild symptoms this time as well.
While BSY has been hospitalized, Yogi is self-isolated.
