It's known that yesteryear actress Vijayashanthi, who recently made a comeback in films with Mahesh Babu's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', has joined the BJP. Formerly with the TRS and then the Congress party, she has now resolved to expose the KCR government, as per her own utterances.

Looks like yet another major yesteryear actor is all set to be enlisted by the saffron party. It's none other than Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad. On Monday, the AP BJP president Somu Veerraju called on the senior actor at his residence in Hyderabad. He was accompanied by character artiste Hema.

It's not known what is on Rajendra Prasad's mind as of now. Everything is merely a speculation as of now. Recently seen in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', the 'Appula Apparao' actor will be seen in Sai Dharam Tej's 'Solo Bratuke So Better'. He will also be seen as Sree Vishnu's father in 'Gaali Sampath', whose screenplay is by Anil Ravipudi.
