Earlier we had said that Hrithik has been roped in to play Tom Cruise in the Hindi version of ‘Knight and Day’ to be helmed by Siddharth Anand.

While speculations were rife that the director is considering bringing in Katrina Kaif to play the female lead, latest buzz confirms that she has now given her nod for the project. She will reprise the role of Cameron Diaz from the original.

The spy-on-the-run romantic thriller incidentally gives an ample scope for the lead pair to involve in many action stunts and sequences.

Both Hrithik and Katrina will therefore undergo intense training to get into perfect physique and build stamina for their film.

Already we had seen Kat’s wild side in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, with this Siddharth Anand’s remake one can look forward to see the actress on much more rough and tougher side. It is said that her role is as lengthy as Hrithik's.

The untitled project, which is expected to start its shooting early next year, will be mostly shot in India, Middle East and Europe.
