Ahead of the release of 'Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa' ('Soorarai Pottru' in Tamil), Suriya continues to be in the news. As is known, the film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video from October 30.

The 'Ghajini' actor has now donated a total sum of Rs 1.5 Cr. To give a breakup, he has donated Rs 1 Cr to FEFSI. About Rs 80 lakh cheque has been handed over to FEFSI President R.K. Selvamani and a cheque for Rs 20 lakh was handed over to R.V. Udhaykumar, Secretary, who is associated with a Directors' Union.
Additionally, a cheque for Rs 30 lakh was given to producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu towards Tamil Nadu Film Producer’s Council. Another cheque Rs 20 lakh was given to Nadigar Sangam.
