After recovery, Sukumar to restart shoot of 'Pushpa'

The production works of 'Pushpa' were halted last week after Sukumar was diagnosed with dengue. The news is that the 'Rangasthalam' director is all set to be back in action from today.

Speaking to a daily, Mythri Movie Makers said that Sukumar didn't suffer from severe dengue. Therefore, he was advised to rest only for a few days. The star director, who is known for working long hours, rested at home for just three days.
Starring Allu Arjun as the hero, 'Pushpa' is going to be released in two parts. One of them will hit the screens later this year. The other part will be shot next year or so.
To be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, the film has Fahadh Faasil as the villain. Rashmika Mandanna is its heroine. Prakash Raj, Jalapathi Babu, Sunil and Dayanand have pivotal roles. Currently shot in Hyderabad, it has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film will complete its shoot by mid-August. Its release date will be finalized after assessing the covid situation. This is Bunny's first pan-India movie.
