Harbhajan Singh on Friday kissed adieu to the upcoming season of IPL, which will begin September 19 in Dubai. The Chennai Super Kings player hadn't gone out of India.
Singh's decision has been attributed to "personal reasons". He is the second promising IPL player to pull out of the tournament after Suresh Raina did last week.
A recent report speculated that Harbhajan Singh might give the IPL a miss owing to the corona scare in CSK. It's known that 13 members of the CSK contingent had tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago. Two players have tested positive and they are asymptomatic. Eleven others are also asymptomatic.
As for Raina, he has made it clear that he pulled out of the game because his uncle was murdered in Punjab's Pathankot. He hasn't had any tiff with MS Dhoni or N Sreenivasan.
